A church friend lost his wife over the weekend after a brief, but intense, battle with cancer. Linda was 52. She left behind a husband, special needs daughter and a teenage son. Most everyone found out the news at church on Sunday morning (as she passed away at 6:30 am that morning). People gasped. I had a hard time concentrating on anything beyond that news. Why Lord? Why? Please help us understand why. Another family permanently changed by cancer.
Lindy’s “pressure” headaches have returned full-force the last several weeks. All the characteristics match the headaches she had prior to her brain cancer diagnosis last summer. She’s so strong; she fights through them while still trying to care for the kids. She downplays it, but I know she’s in pain. It hurts me to see her suffer – she doesn’t deserve this kind of life. Dr. Schott at the University of Michigan Cancer Center is trying to get her brain MRI moved up from mid-September. We’re hoping this can happen yet this week. It’s not something they / we take lightly. I’ll post an update once we find out more.
Lindy and I were able to get away for our 13th wedding anniversary to Boyne Mountain last week. We had a wonderful time reconnecting. Many thanks to Rebecca Perkins and Taressa Sprick of Five Star Realty for the gift certificate. People are so kind to us.

So happy you two had a nice trip away. Happy Anniversary! Praying hard for you!!
Thank you so much Megan, you’re a blessing to us.
Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
